Return of the radioactive boy scout

A couple of years ago, Rudy Rucker posted an entry about the boy scout who tried to make a nuclear reactor in his garden shed. Years later, he's been caught again trying to do the same thing.

Now, it seems as if he has yet to learn his lesson, as he has been busted once again, this time for stealing smoke detectors in an effort to experiment with radioactive materials.
