...As I write this from my hospital bed, the morphine and other fun medications have prodded my memor and I've recalled this "red alert" caveat on this clip: Kids, be careful when presenting Barbie and/or Ken in sexually provocative situations. The Spudboys from Akron, DEVO, got sued by Mattel over the use of stop-motion Barbie dolls in the "Love Wihtout Anger" video. The Spuds won the case, but it was still a waste of everybody's time.
And now you know the *real* reason why we had our GI Joes raping our sisters' Barbies and Skippers when we were kids...:P
Barbie and Ken together is het. Please don't contribute to the (frankly homophobic in effect, however unintentional) conflation of "slash" - depictions of same-gender couples in fanworks - and smut. There is PG-rated slash, and when a fan-work has a heterosexual couple getting busy, we call it het smut.
