Max Silvestri got stuck in an elevator
Max Silvestri of "Gabe and Max" fame has posted a response to the creepy "Man Stuck in An Elevator For 41 Hours" video that's been floating around the youtubes lately. Here it is on 236.com, or here it is on YT. (thanks, Max!)

Ok, that's pretty humorous. Unfortunately, he was beaten to the punch. There's a pretty humorous spoof of the original floating around right now. One source is on entensity.net. This spoof centers on a joke Max goes for early on in this one (drinking his own urine). Except, instead of urine, it's poo. He paints with it. It's hilarious.
Entensity is NOT SAFE FOR WORK. Well, unless you work in a brothel, or Guantanamo Bay. Entensity is also not safe for anyone who is NOT using Firefox, Adblock, and NoScript. Visit at your own peril.
ZOMG I snorted milk out of my nose just now.
Yes, I have milk with lunch.
@Strabo soooo there's pretty much no reason to view that other video on Entensity whatsoever?
@phillamb168, Umm, no. I said it's pretty hilarious. The above video is a PG-13 take on the joke. The one at Entensity is definitely an R.
@Strabo I was more referring to the amount of popups and flashing SWF ads which you inferred existed on the site - if the vid's somewhere else I say go for it.
WIIIILLLLSSSON!
I mean, that was awesome
This wasn't bad but i know Letterman did a parody too a while ago. As a whole it might not be as funny but i enjoyed the punchline when another man walks into the elevator and says to Dave, "Helps if you press the button, idiot."
haven't seen the other parodies, but am perfectly amused by this one. loved the castaway reference. smooth!
Max is just adorable! I would get trapped in an elevator with him any time.
That had me laughing out loud until the end when he got the fake beard. The beard and wig ruined the whole thing for me. =(
I would get trapped in an elevator with him any time.
I like Gabe. Maybe we could bribe the Otis guy and have a 41 hour double date.
I haven't seen the original, but Gabe's parody is not totally unrealistic. One Christmas Day in the early 90s I decided to move some stuff into my newly built-out communal office suite, which had no phones installed (and before I had a cell). Dropping my boxes and preparing to leave, I discovered the front door lock to have been installed in such a way that I could not exit. Luckily it was a 3rd floor office in an old building with opening windows. I managed to convince a passerby (not too numerous on that day and in that neighborhood) to accept a set of thrown keys to come around and let me out. It took some convincing. The cycle of anxiety/calm down/anxiety was about 30 seconds in length, for the better part of an hour. Not that I did any of that other stuff.
The poo-version is here. Best part is where he covers the camera, and does some good ol'fashion autoerotic-asphyxiation.
I liked this take on it, though I still feel bad about the original. Seriously, horrible.
