HOWTO make a D12 handbag

The geniuses at Evil Mad Scientist Labs have lovingly documented the process of making a D12 purse (of holding):

Drawstring dice bags are nearly ubiquitous amongst people who play with non-cubical dice. They can even be used as hand bags. But what about the inverse-- a bag that looks like one of the dice? Here's how to make a dodecahedral handbag using fabric, iron-on numbers, a couple of washers and a magnet.

Pah, puny D12s. I'd prefer a D20, then I can do all my save and attack rolls whilst carrying useful items. Do I get hit by a car whilst crossing the road? roll D20, plus DEX modifier (about -1 for me) If I don't roll high enough I deliberately jump in front of it. I could live my life as though everything I did had a knowable, quantifiable chance of happening. yay.

Gotta work on those split ends, honey. The wicked witch mane is inappropriate before Labor Day.

this is awesome despite everyone's moaning and groaning. and the tutorial could basically be aplied to any dice, as long as you know the shape your dealing with. the principals are the same.

Dispite my last comment, I agree with Birophyta above, this is awesome. I wish I know something about sewing (and a gf to give it to - but If I had a gf right now I probably would't be geek enough to do it :P) to make the other d&d dices. The d4 would probably look a litle strange. And the d8. The d10 would be as cool as the d12. The d20 would be hard, and would have to be a litle bigger, I suppose.

Holy crap that is amazing. I'm going to have to make a D20 bag and then figure out some way to be (1) a guy (2) in law school (3) who has a D20 handbag (4) without getting ripped on. :(

If that lands on its end you have to throw again.Three curved sides tapering to a point at each end would be a viable three sided die though.
