That's a beautiful cover.

I'm a sucker for dirigibles. And the more impractical, the better.

I like steampunk as much as the next guy, but I have to say Mainspring was one of the worst books I've read in recent history. Over the top steampunk that just came out as cheesy.

I'd buy that book just for the cover.

The cover of this book is awesome,
the concept of this book is amazing,
the first half of the book is very enjoyable.

I in no way recommend this book to anyone,
the second half of the book rapidly devolves into
some sort of monkey sex fantasy. No I am not exagerating, the second half of the book is mainly about having sex with monkeys.

I definately agree with #3, one of the worst books I have read recently.
